headlight, passing and blinkers but what I came across was someting differant a set of Finned Headbolt covers, differant from the everyday chrome application this actually looks like a continuation to the jugs around the normal open spot around the spark plugs,
Anyone out there seen this or have purchased, I have yet to put them on the bike but will get to it shortly.
I admit they look good, but they are purely cosmetic. I would think they HOLD IN the heat coming off the head at the plugs, instead of helping to eliminate it. That area needs to breath on an air cooled motor IMHO.
I have them on my Road Glide and love them. They look great and I haven't noticed them holding in any heat. I think the design with the fins (and the light material) will keep them from getting too hot.
