I'm considering an '09 Ultra. It's a 96" with 6 speed, not the 103 of course. I don't think it has cruise control because the seller didn't mention it. (I haven't checked it out in person yet.) I guess my first question should be 1) Did all 09 Ultras come with factory cruise control? and 2) Can you add the factory cruise control, switches and all, to a bike that didn't have it originally?
I just searches google and found the HD website for 2009 models and found that cruise control was standard on the bike. I guess the seller didn't mention cruise since they all apparently have it.
This is interesting. I bought my '09 RK without Cruise Control. I was told at the time that I CANNOT add it later. I haven't thought much about it since then, but now reading this I'm curious.
So CAN I add Cruise to an '09 Road King standard? If so how much is it for the parts/install? Is it a simple thing to do?
