I was refueling the other day and a young man pulls up on a Honda CBR 1100. He was cordial and was talking to me about my RKC and I about his bike. Well I said I had a 850Lb bike with about 80ish HP and he tells about having a turbo, or supercharger installed on his, claiming over 200HP at the wheel. I said oh, is it hard to hold on to when cranking the throttle. He shows me a emergency cable he clips to himself like a jetski has, so if he falls it shuts the bike off. We shook hands and went our own ways.
What a difference of 25years of age makes when you ride.
Safe riding to all
Guy I know used to race flat track for Harley back in the late 80's, point being he can ride. He bought a year 1 Hyabusa. I know he had it up to 206mph. He wheelies by my house at 130.

That strap is for the protection of others when that thing gets away, ain't going to help him at all. I'm 56 years old and ain't grown all the way up yet, but I've had my Street Glide wrapped past the 120 mark twice, both times on a relatively safe, long stretch of open road, but for me, it's too damn fast. I'll cruise 80-85 all day on the open toll roads and I love going 0-that 85 as fast as possible, but that is where I get my rush, not in the top end. I can see the thrill of speed, but that's not my thrill, I get my thrill from acceleration.
