Anybody use these? Just need a few inches closer for a better feel. I like the looks of the chubbys that are in the site but concerned about blocking the fairing mirrors and not looking to hide wires like on my WG. Also not looking to go any higher on the bars. From the HD site here are the specs of the bars. The first one is stock deminsions and the second are the pullbacks.
Part Number Tip to Tip Base Width Rise Pull Back Center 56625-99 30.25" 15.75" 7.25" 6.25" 3.49†55914-98 30.75" 15" 8" 7.5" 3.50"
Looking at the specs, it seems your hand position would move more inward. Seems kinda okward? What other options are out there for a late model EG?
I put these bars on my '07 Ultra Glide, #55914-98. They turn "in" more than the original bars and don't feel right. You have to turn your wrists in moreand they feel very uncomfortable to me. I've only driven 17 miles so far due to storms in the N.West in the last few weeks. I'm not sure if I will get used to them or not. We'll see.
The most comfy bars I have found are the Heritage Softail Classic stock bars,
I think they are # 56623-99, compared to the RK and pullback bars, which
turn your wrists "inward", these bars turn them "outward", or straighter with your arms
which is much more comfortable, at least to me.
I just went to the dealer and set the bars on the counter to get a feel for them, swapped
bars until I found one I liked.

I have them and like the fact that I don't have to reach as far to get a grip. But they do seem to be more like a wheel barrel. Does the herritage classics come back closer to the rider than stock and still flatten out the wrist angle?
I went with the HD pullbacks on mine. Most places want to hang the bars up so it rides like a Heritage. I had mine dropped to almost a beach bar height. It pulled the bars back even further. It's a little tighter getting off and on the bike, but the ride is comfortable.
