Everybody has a road glide, so street glide all the way. Seriously I have ridden both, you can't go wrong either way.

Get the street glide!!!! Road Glides are the worst!!!! You cant reach the radio. The fairing doesn't turn on corners. I cant count how many times I have found myself going off the road because my fairing wouldn't turn. Buy the Street Glide you will live longer

I have both as well. My RG is on the East Coast and my SG the west. other than the look and the slight differences in ride that are the same to me....cant go wrong with either.

You will get a lot of opinions, I recommend test riding both and then go for it.....I say Road Glide having owned both, but I am biased.

Street Glide is my choice. However the batwing does catch the wind, whereas the Road Glide cuts through the wind like butter. Ride both then decide.

Street Glide I find the road glide looks bulky. But they are both great bikes

Thumbs up

Whatever you do....don't read the new issue of HOG. Everyone should get Street Glides. Road Glides are useless.

Road Glide owners, does having the headlights mounted to the fixed fairing have any negative affects at night when turning or cornering? I never rode a Road Glide at night, but I can tell you my Street Glides headlight tracks perfectly when turning and cornering.

Not wanting to take any unnecessary chances with this situation, I riveted
a Model A headlamp to my helmet.
With a wiring harness from the local auto parts store and a trip to the
local junkyard, I was able to run power from the battery to my helmet.
Now the light illuminates which ever direction I look.....

More than one way to get light around corners while riding at night !!!!
