Get the street glide!!!! Road Glides are the worst!!!! You cant reach the radio. The fairing doesn't turn on corners. I cant count how many times I have found myself going off the road because my fairing wouldn't turn. Buy the Street Glide you will live longer
I have both as well. My RG is on the East Coast and my SG the west. other than the look and the slight differences in ride that are the same to me....cant go wrong with either.
Road Glide owners, does having the headlights mounted to the fixed fairing have any negative affects at night when turning or cornering? I never rode a Road Glide at night, but I can tell you my Street Glides headlight tracks perfectly when turning and cornering.

a Model A headlamp to my helmet.
With a wiring harness from the local auto parts store and a trip to the
local junkyard, I was able to run power from the battery to my helmet.
Now the light illuminates which ever direction I look.....
More than one way to get light around corners while riding at night !!!!
