anybody remember....

a post awhile back about a guy who had serious problems after a 103 upgrade? I tried to search but come up empty.

I bought a 103 Limited Ultra last summer, and was practically in panic mode with the heat until I found out about the catalytic converter, and got rid of it. Is that what you're asking?

I think it was something about installing a cam and getting vibration in lower rpm range ?

No, this was a guy that did a 103 upgrade and had a noise from the start and something finally failed taking out the engine.

Pretty sure is was a 96 to 103 stage 2 or maybe 3 kit that was installed by a dealer.

Maybe I am just paranoid as it's my first build but I swear I hear a lower end noise in the front cylinder. I don"t really notice it til 3000rpm but the upper end is noisy too. Only 750 miles on it so we will see.
