Probably. He spent time in 1/7 with 712 in the 80's-90's before going to OCS then he was with 10th. I spent time in HHC 3/7 from 95-99. Tried to send you a PM but would not let me.

I have a 2011 streetglide. I accidentally removed the hex plug on my oil pan. I had some oil come out. Will I have any issues with my mistake?

That is true..... any tapered plug, if overtightened, puts a lot of stress on whatever it is screwed into to...

It's surprising how many people believe tighter is better. They will just tighten a nut/bolt until it can't be tightened anymore...!

HD castings are suspect from time to time. Ever hear of porous HD cases? That's why most advise not to pull the pipe plugs unless absolutely necessary...

There is the famous pipe plug in the cam chest, that has led to a few cracked cases.... big headache....

As long as the pipe plug was just "snugged up" there shouldn't be a problem...

Oh no, you mean you messed with the "Thou shalt NOT mess with the hex plug?
Maybe it will leak, maybe it won't, however your pecker will rot and fall off in three days.
My condolences go out to you.
