Pv fyi
Anyone running the Power Vision software in Windoze Vista, Service Pack 2.
I put this here versus in the ECM/Tuner section for that is a little busy and if anyone else is battling this it will be a quick find here.
The PV, along with log tuner worked beautifully the first month and then started miss behaving.
I have my laptop set to update automatically so Windoze does so in the background without prompting me.
It recently ran some security updates and threw a F*ck into my power vision software.
This makes file sharing next to impossible even if created under the same user account.
I could navigate the PV software fine, but the log tuner program could not see the files I created. I went to Control Panel/User Accounts/Turn User Account Control "OFF".
Part of a recent update found it necessary to make "ON" part of their default scheme.
Now, the sentimental side, I hope MS does not question why I bought an Android phone (threw my Windoze Mobile 6.5 in the trash, and my new laptop is a Mac)......................
