I would never consider riding my bikes in snowy, slushy, salty conditions. After all the valuable imput from the members of this forum I will not be trailering on an open trailer during these conditions either. Anyone need a small open motorcycle trailer, cause mines for sale?

Thanks for all the great responses. After taking some measurements, I went ahead and ordered a 7 X 12. Staggering the bikes slightly, I can get 2 ultras to fit without being too cramped. Here's a picture of the one I ordered. "Low hauler" model will fit through a standard garage door opening.
