Default Adjusting handlebars on a Road Glide

Need to adjust the handlebars on my new Road Glide back an inch or so. Can someone give me a link that has the procedure? I popped out the gauge cluster and can get to two easy enough, but the two on the rear side of the clamp are covered. So then I loosened the screws holding the covers on the side (on the front legs) but the plastic is fastened somewhere around the switch and I can't figure out how.
Thanks in advance

With the two rear bolts loosened, you still couldn't move them back?

Can't get to the two rear bolts (on the clamp), that's the problem. They're covered with the plastic bottom halves of the enclosure

There are 2 ways to do it . By the manual and the correct way is too remove the Ign Switch and then you can remove the lower plastic cover. The way a lot of people do it is to take a Dremel or file etc and cut away the plastic just over the 2 rear clamp bolts, the top cover will hide it as long as you only take off what you need to.

This is a good thread and video on switch removal

My bad, I meant front bolts. I've never had to loosen the two rear bolts, it has always been enough to just loosen the two fronts.

Lossen (Don't Remove) the 2 bolts under the cluster cover and rotate your bars to the desired area. Then tighten them up. Remember you may need to also lossen your controls and move them as well.

Easy job, however make sure the bars are not to low that they hit the tank or that your rotaing them up to high that they contact the shield.

(Don't ask me how I know

Good luck

Frank

I thought about trying just the front bolts on the clamp, but really don't like that idea much.
