I'd like to install the Progressive Drop-in Fork Lowering Kit on my 2011 Road King. I've read alot of posts on here and looked at the instructions and videos. Is there any way to do it without removing the front wheel, fender, forks, etc?
remove bars from risers and lay them on the top of the tank with something soft underneath
there are two big bolts on the top of the forks and two bolts on the bottom yoke
first undo the top bolts that go into the forks a little then undo the yoke bolts so the forks slide up and down easy
undo the top fork bolt being carefull to make sure the wheel is off the floor so the legs are all the way down
then you should be able to remove the springs easy enough and replace as guided by the instructions on yr and model you have
