What year seats will fit 2008 FLHX? (also, seat recommendations)

Here's a high end seat to chk out thats basically " NEW " (less then 600miles on it) @ 1/2 price inc backrest and rain covers.

Any touring bike seat from 2008-2012 will fit a 2008 with no problem. I would stay away from the 2009/10 seats from HD they were all built on the Hammock seat pan which is a POS the 11/12 seats are the best imo as far as stock type seats go.
I own a 2008 and a 2012 and as I own multiple seats, I can say for a fact some fit the 12 that don't fit the 08. Esp if you have the tourpak on the bike, note 08 seats have 'notches' in back for the 2 bars holding the tour pak. The fender width on the 08 is smaller too, so often the 09-up seats are so wide they might hit the saddlebag lids or rub them while you ride. Also, due to the older frame, putting a newer seat on the bike, the rear seat tab won't sit on the hole in the fender -1" gap where you have to press the seat down to insert screw. Seen it crack rear where rear seat tab attaches to plastic seatpan.
