Default Pipe Size

I own a 2008 Ultra Classic and it currently has the stock exhaust on it including the cats. I want to change it and put on new headers and slip-ons. Question is. Does anyone know the diameter size of the exhaust. Is it 3" or 3.5" It's kind of hard to measure with it mounted and I really don't want to take it all apart at this moment to just get a measurement. Thanks

Unless you have a California bike there are no cats, they started with the 2010 models.

*** in the header pipe- and 2009 CA bikes had cat in the header as well.

some earlier models may have cats in the muffler.

all muffler's for 1995 and newer touring bikes interchange physically to the stock style header pipes
