Picked up my 07 FLHT yesterday, I have a couple of problems/questions....
Can anyone tell me what kind of 2-1 exhaust this is? No markings and way too loud for my tastes.
I bought a used FLHX seat to install, but I can't get this drivers backrest off to switch seats (original comfort stitch seat and this remote controlled backrest will be up for sale later)
Bike came with a married 32109-08B Tuner. That's it, just the orange box. I found a part number for cables 32184-08, but I guess I need software, plus maybe the training DVD? Bike has hi flow breather and pipes, but I have a set of SE204 cams and a 103 big bore kit to put in it. I normally use Power Commander Products. But depending on how much more I have to spend I may use the Tuner.
The key!! It works in the saddlebag latches and gas cap door, but not in the ignition, seems like it doesn't want to go down all the way. (yeah, yeah, I know, Story of my life).
Follow the backrest post down below the level of the seat. On the backside of the post where it goes into the adjustable mount there is a spring loaded clamp. push the sping loaded clamp back about 1/4". Hold the spring loaded clamp back while pulling the backrest up. Up and slightly forward. There are two pins on the spring loaded clamp that go thru two holes in the base of the backrest post.
The key
First turn the ignition to the "Fork Lock" position. Now insert the key and push the ignition down about 1/4" and turn the key. I'm guessing either you don't have the ignition turned to the fork lock position or your not pushing down on the ignition
Hope this helps, and I have no clue on the exhaust.

The exhaust is a D&D fatcat. There is a quiet baffle option that is still loud to some. Do a search here there are some pictures that might help you identify which baffle you have. You may have a standard baffle which is loud.
Thank you, key/ignition works fine, guess I should invest in an owners manual along with the service manual! Backrest is off now! Bad news is 07 FLHX seat I bought to replace the standard FLH seat does not quite fit. The nose is about 3" too short. Will have to look for a console extension.

Pulled the baffle, it's sort of welded inside a pipe so I can't wrap it. OD is 3.75", inlet is 2.25", overall length is 23.5", it's quite a monster. Will do a search for D&D Fatcat to see what my options are.
Thanks, Jim
