Default Tools for primary pulley?

Where do I get a locking tool and a socket to change the primary pulley for my ultra LT.

Perhaps this guy might have what you want. I get all mine from him, they cost a bit more but the quality is there. We dont have many options for harley tools down here in Oz so I get them where I can as he posts worldwide. Know doubt you will have more options where you are.

I use a 3/8" extension for the locking tool.
And a (I think) 13/16" socket.
Have had changed or removed the primary gear 4 or five times now. It works!

Thanks forthe link.It looks like the socket is 2-1/4 " to get the primary belt pulley nut off.I hate to pay $180.00 for a socket and locking tool to use 1 time.maybe I can make a socket by cuting a the top off a 2-1/4" socket and weld it to a pipe, the make a bushing to fit inside the pipe and over the shaft to keep it straight and protect the threads.

That's exactly what some other guys have done. There's some low bucks ways to lock the pulley, too.

You can pick up the socket for 60 bucks here.

Thanks. $60 is not that bad for the socket.I can do that, over taking the time to make one.Now I need some pics of the locking tool so I can make 1 of them.It shouldn't be to hard to make.
