I purchased a Hammock seat for my 2010 Ultra and it is a big improvement over the OEM seat. It gave me some more leg room. The problem I have now is my OEM handlebars put a cramp in my neck and shoulders.
As I am setting on my seat with my back against the backrest it seems my handlebar grips need to be 2" higher and 2" further back. Is this what these bars will do for me?
I would like to hear from members who have had these bars installed. Are you satisfied with them?
I'll be watching this thread, I have also been thinking about Khromeworks 2x2 bars. Now you've got me thinking about a Hammock seat. I had a Mustang on my RKC, (liked it) and keep looking at one for the Ultra but something keeps me from pulling the trigger on one.
I was going to go with those bars until I was told since their new it was on a four week back order. Too many other options to wait, but that's just me?
I had the 300505 +2 wide sweepers on my 06 FLHT.
I liked them so much that I went with the 300515 +2 wide sweepers on my 09 FLHTCU.
Same bars , just updated for TBW throttle.
The 2+2 look to be about 3/4" taller than these models , so I would imagine they would work pretty nice.
Be aware these bars are a good deal wider than stock , so if you have short arms or narrow shoulders , they are pretty far apart.
These bars worked for me as I wanted to be more vertical against the backrest , and have a droop to my elbows while riding.
I only had to change the clutch cable , ran the wiring external , added poly bushings and ISO grips to complete the install.
Your '10 Ultra should already have the one piece top clamp from the factory.
A very nice comfort mod.

Thanks Mick for your reply. Does your +2 wide sweepers put your hands above the fairing. If not do you believe the 2+2 would put your hands above the fairing. Since I ride the year round I want my hands below the fairing for riding in cold weather.
I also put the +2 sweepers on my 09 Ultra. I looked around for the best price before I bought them, and found them on Amazon.com. At the same time I was also having my radio repaired and the folks that repaired the radio (Iron Cross Audio) suggested that I replace the front bolts on the handlebar clamps because they hitting the underside of the radio, and that the damage was vibration damage that could have been caused by that. The bolts were $4.00 at HD. I did NOT replace the clutch cable, I just studied it for awhile and strategically re-ran the cable. I did this back in March, and everything is fine.
All in all I would say there are pretty nice bars. They are a little wide, so it took a little getting use to. But they are more comfortable than stock.
My hands now are just a little above the fairing.

Reason: Add on
I had the bars on my 06 very close to the inner fairing , which made them taller.
On my 09 I rotated them down a smidge to get them closer to the seat , so I would say they still protect my knuckles from the wind pretty well.
A small bit of adjustment makes a pretty big difference when the bars are taller than stock.
The wrist angle is much better than the stock bars for sure.
I don't believe they are above the fairing on mine.
