I prefer backroads as I ride for the pure joy of it, and that is where the joy is. However...there are many times when time is a factor. IfI have to be somewhere and the scenery is not that great, then get on the slab and ride until the tank is empty, fill up and go again.

Regards,

Bill

I do most of my riding on the back roads. I enjoy the slower pace and like the curves. Sometimes I like to hit the interstate and run fast for a while but usally if Im the slab, its to get to a destination.

I usually take the shortest (time) way.Usually the interstate .If I'm just out ridin' for enjoyment then I usually go where the front wheel takes me.

Backroads anytime! I do run interstates though, but usually only when time is a factor.

I prefer the backroads and slower pace. We do most of our riding in rural areas where traffic is light, however we do ride the interstates when we need to get somewhere quick.

I prefer the backroads. If I'm in a hurry, I take the cage.

Like most...If I gotta get from point A to B then I use the four laners. If I'm out for a ride then the backroads is what motorcycling is all about IMO!

Anything that's paved!! For pleasure, I prefer the back roads, but it isn't always possible to avoid the interstate. Interstates don't intimidate me. I've ridden through Charlotte, NC (closest large city) during "rush hour" on I-77. That can be an experience. I just keep a close eye on the cages around me. The best defence I've found is to keep the cages in the rear view mirror............................
