Hey........thanks a lot for all the replys.........down town is a mess........half the country must be here.
I will check the maps out after the fireworks...........hav'n a great trip!!!
Heres a few pics from the parkway..............that IS a wonderful ride. The official folder says on the cover "it isn't just about the road"...........well, I think it IS about the road.

Used to live back there, and I've ridden that road a hundred times. It's great. Ride safe out of DC. There's a lot of knuckleheads that get loaded on the 4th, and then get behind the wheel. BE SAFE!! It's the other guy you gotta watch out for.
