Well well I got my pit posse bearing tool and I installed my bearings today it was a piece of cake 30 minutes tops.i would encourage any body to do their own work on their bike,we need to send a message to the stealerships that we are tired of being screwed on repair cost !!!!!!

+1 on that as well as buying parts online where discounts are offered and using independant shops, I know the dealerships have a high overhead but when they pay "Techs" $18 to $22 and Hour and charge what they charge you get $18 to $22 worth of work!

Seems like they're putting the smaller dealers out of business.i just read that Fletcher's Harley in Clearwater fl will shutter their doors at the end of the month. I like being welcomed at the front door by a nice looking lady but I would rather get my service and parts more reasonable priced .

I don't know who you talked to but I would have asked for the main tech in the shop to explain why it costs that much. That's some sad BS asking for that much.

It was the guy who writes up the service.dont get me wrong I think a good mechanic should be paid well for his expertise. It's the time they want to charge you would think for a job that small a one hour charge would be enough go figure.
