I bought a new anarchy wheel and while I was there I ask them how much to install a bearing. To my amazement they said it would be an hour and half labor charge. Now look the wheel is off the bike no bearing in it and they want an hour and half labor charge!!! That's pure bullshit it shouldnt take more than 20 minutes tops.I guess they take people to be stupid.Anyway I'm trying to find somebody that has a tool and I'll do it myself. now that I vented I feel better.
Just use a socket close to the outside diameter from your ratchet set, tap the outside edges lightly to start it straight ( just a lite touch of oil) and press it in or use a rubber mallet to tap it in till it stops.

Let me guess - ABC? Did you call around? Assuming you are in the Detroit area, I would check some Indys - Demasters, etc.
What I use is a guessed rod washer, nuts, and sockets the size of the outer bearing cage that Will still slide into the wheel. I put the nut washer socket bearing on the rod then the rod through the wheel slip in the wheel bearing spacer then the next bearing socket washer and nut. I then tighten one nut down making sure the bearings are going in straight.

The numbers they quote are harvested from left field. They have no "bearing" on the time it takes to do the job.
