Default octane GOOD!

tried some lucas octane boost last week and seemed to improve performance,so gave it a double gulp and a half on my last tank of gas and noticed significant improvement.ran cooler, stronger, smoother, and under load at 65 to 75 no pinging, pulled strong.tank seems to be lasting longer too maybe.

so from the butt-o-meter gauge--->octane GOOD

I use the same if go up to the mountains
But for general info you can also use Chevron Techron Concentrate Plus which will clean your fuel system / injectors / pistons / valves if you buy a 20 oz bottle that will last a year.

you need to be careful with octane boosters as they are notorious for leaving huge amounts of deposits on the pistons and valves..

+1 on the Techron. I run it in my cages and my bike. Not constantly as that 20 oz bottle is about $15.00 but it does the job.

to a point, at which the additive package can cause problems.

it almost sounds like the guys who swear that they run 80 MPH at 500 rpm lower than before after having some work done- wich is impossible with out a gearing change

smart guys who know say that the octane boost worth having is in a metal container, not a plastic bottle.

its the additives that make the deposits not the octane...if you buy racing gas you don't get the deposits...

thanks for the info on the stuff in the can. That will also solve the problem of leaky plastic bottle, last winter went to use some and bottle got to cold and cracked, spilled all over the place at the pump(big mess) so gave up on octane till now.

didnt think I was makeing outrageous claims, just a noticeable improvement. Was traveling few weeks ago and the group stopped at a station that had 91 octane and bike was not happy after that fill up.

Octane Good
