Default muffled hron

Switched out the horn cover today and now it just has a muffled sound.
I did make sure not to over tighten the horn when mounting to the bracket.
Is there a fix for this or have to swap it out?

check the mount again, too tight or too loose and the thing gets dampened.

Take it back apart and see if it sounds normal. If so put it back together. I have been through a few horns that died. The last Harley horn I bought is much louder than any other I have had and designed a bit differently.

+1 on that. Try to loosen up the bolt holding the horn a little. You'd be surprised at the difference it will make.

You can bend the horn away from the horn cover. Try that.

Well I've tried a few of the different things and it's kind of a hit and miss.
It will come and go but not work proper.
Might be time to try a new one.
Thanks for the help.
