Your initial post referred to a 30t sprocket and primary chain, I presume you were talking about the engine sprocket and compensator. The 30t motor sprocket conversions does away with the compensator, which some guys say isn't a problem, but I feel puts too much shock loading onto the crankshaft.
Your most viable options are to change the clutch sprocket out for a 49t unit from evo industries (3.06 final drive), or change the trans pulley out to a 31t pulley (2.96 final drive, approx 3% more torque), or a 30t trans pulley (3.07 final drive, approx 7% more torque than stock).
The clutch basket and sprocket conversion is the easiest to do, but the parts aren't cheap. If you can do the work yourself, the 30t trans pulley conversion, using a tri glide pulley, can be done for around 100 bucks, including new primary gaskets and fluids.
