i did my first mod today of the SG. first thing i did was to replace the factory speakers with a set of Pioneer TS-A1684R 6.5" up in the dash. you've all seen the shitty speakers in there, the magnet on them was about the size of a quarter. i then installed a Rockford Fosgate PBR300x4 amp on top of the factory head unit & ran a set of wires back to the bags which i will install a set of Pioneer TS-A6994R 6x9's. once i get those in the bags this things sound system will sound better then most cars & really rock.
i still had my HID kit that i bought for the VTX & since most bikes all have the same type bulb, i proceeded to install it in the bike. wasnt to hard to hook up at all, the hardest part of everything that i did today was running the power lines to the battery & the speaker wires to the back, because they all had to go under the tank.
i'll try to get a little video once i'm finished with the system bumping. i'm sure the cops will love it, hopefully i wont get pulled over.....
