I have been looking for some reviews with no luck.
Can any of you stereo gurus tell me what you think about the Bagger Nation Batwing "house party" stereo system? Or if someone has it, tell me how they like it?
Also these lids look just like the Cycle Sounds Speaker Lids. Are they?
not sure on the yaffe sound systems, but I have heard and seent he cycle sound lids, and I will tell you WOW they are incredible! I would love for someone to chime in that has them and can comment how they sound when you running down the road, but they are an impressive upgrade in my opinion. And slick to look at, especially if you match the speaker grills to your bags.... sharp set up!
I have the Cycle Sounds lids and like them very much. They fit well, but I had to go to a little longer bolt to mount the latches to the bag. Not a big deal.
I'm using a pair of ARC Audio 6x9's in them with an ARC Audio 125.2 amp running them. My 5.25" J&M dash speakers are running off the stock HK stereo. Everything sounds really good, but I will probably be upgrading to 6.5" dash speakers and adding an additional amp (not sure which one) to power those in the future.
In a parking lot the sounds will blow your mind. Out on the road, it is still a major improvement up to about 60mph. Then it gets a little hard to hear the improvement. This is much of the reason I want to upgrade the dash speakers. Everyone wants to ride behind me now though. LOL.
Here's a couple of crappy videos I did in my garage after I installed them. I've since put some bag liners in and re-routed the speaker wire so all the wiring is hidden. I also used some quick disconnects so the bags are easily removable.
I had the Cycle Sounds bag speakers with their speakers and 100W amp as well. They seriously rock. They come with Polk marine grade speakers and a hydrophobic material to keep water off of them. I took off all my speakers to make my bike a little bit cleaner. I can get you whatever you need audio wise pretty much.
