Seeking to have the 21' Vee Rubber tires on my 2010 FLHTK... I got the 21' DNA Mammoth on its way,,, and was looking for a white wall that goes well with it... any advise?!!!
i have a 21" vee rubber on my 21" ride wright front wheel...no problems at all you might experience a problem with your dna's my friend has gone thru 2 sets because of manufacters defects... i went with ride wright spoke wheels ,alittle more money but worth it! they basically have a life time warranty...theydont promote it but they do i have a friend that bent his front wheel and they fixxed it for free!
Yes! I have had plenty experiende with these tires! I am on my second one!! The first bubbled up @ about 1.5 k was able to squeeze another 4k miles out of it...got another after I filed a warranty claim and this one is now expanding anything over 80 mph burning the paint on my fender...with that said think I am done with vee rubber
I bought DNA mammoth spokes over the winter with vee rubber tires.... 21 front 18 rear. The front was absolutely perfect, looked good and rode good. The 18" rear, busted a belt in the first and second tire I had. If I had to do it all over again, I'd have went with a 16" rear, and a dunlop whitewall tire. I had no yellowing problems. I switched to avon cobras just so I'd have a matched set. My DNA wheels have been flawless since I've had them, they ride true, no air leakage and I've put over 2k miles on them since owning them. In general I think vee rubber has nailed the front tire, but still need some quality control on their custom rear sizes like my 18 Then...... Now......
I have the 21" front for sale of you want it...... Only about 250 miles on it, still has the dye and whiskers on it

Vee Rubber is probably hit or miss. But for many people, its the ONLY option if you want a wide 21 inch white wall. I have one on my Road King. So far so good. Its not a high quality tire by any means, but it works. I am praying Avon or Metzler actually releases one soon! Also, be advised, be sure to check clearance with a 21 inch tire. Many people (including me) had to clearance the fender to avoid burning the paint. Usually wallowing out the rear mounting holes is enough. But be DAMN sure to check.
We can only be so lucky if/when Avon or Metz release a ww tire for 21/18 combo. Or if db tires starts doing them again. I still can't believe neither one of the 2 major companies have not done this yet as there has to be enough 21/18 combos on the road to support the cost. Hell I would bet the are enough 21's in Cali to keep them busy for awhile!

Agreed! This is no longer a niche market..... It's almost the "norm" now
