8'' Slipstream Upgrade??
Switched my 10'' screen to the 8''slipstream on 09 ultra classic. Im 5'11'' looking over the 10'' wind at 60mph and 70mph puting my hand up above my forehead just start to feel the wind,no buffeting at all a good screen with no wind problems.8'' dark smoke slipstream at 60mph noticeable diffrence wind now buffeting top of head,and alittle slaping of the ears with alot more wind noise in my ears,also getting used to not seeing threw the sheild is somthin all have to get used too! I kinda figured this would happen so Im not suprised at the increase of wind and noise.I dont wear a helmet here in KY. The pros are one bad *** lookin wind sheild on my black ultra.I kinda knew what to expect is does look sweet on the bike. Dennis Kirk had the dark smoke for 66.00$ Quality was excellent and went right on with no problems. Will i keep it on? time will tell try to get used to the extra noise! just thought Id share what I got from the switch.The 10 inch is great the 8'' looks awsome,,,you will find alot of diffrence between the 2!
