Compare 2009 RK With 2010 RK
To get the greater seat height plus the improved chassis on the 2009 and 2010 RK Classics I've decided to buy one of them. Please point out significant benefits and problems each has compared to the other. Thanks.

o2 sensor size is different 09/ 10+
but much the same animal.
if you google
2009_model_year_technical_forum
you will see the changes into 2009 from 2008.
then substitute 2010 ( and 2011 if you want) and you can track the ongoing changes
and you can also decode the VIN to see if you are looking at a CA model.

Since the 2009 does not have a catalytic converter does it run cooler than the 2010? In which other ways does the absence of a cat effect a 2009?

If both are stock the 09 will be cooler with out the CAT. The 5th gear whine, do not hear it on my brother 09 Ultra.

2010: They started putting the Catalytic Coverter in the headers of all Touring models
