My buddy had a similar need with engine build, cams, jugs, heads, whole works. And, the compression releases. Works great. He did buy a gel battery at our local auto parts store.

Your original question about the Big Crank battery from Battery Mart, I bought one this past spring from them and very happy with it. cost around $107. All the other issues these guys are talking about I can't help.
