Default power commander V install

i would like to use the "ACCY" switch on my dash to switch between " eco" and power " map i know its got to be a spst switch ,,how do i remove voltage from that switchand just use the switch as "dry " contacts,,,thank you in advance

I'd think you could just disconnect the leads to the switch under the switch panel.

Hook it up through a relay from the accy connector under the seat. also if you know how the accy connector works one of the pins is only powered with switch on. If you need a diagram for relay set up let me know.

BTW, I am curious about the map switch. Did you buy the kit from Dynojet or are you building your own? If so, where did you get the connector to plug into the PCV?

I remember reading something about that in the paper manual that came with the unit am I wrong?

I used the PCV several years ago before switching to the PowerVision. Last night, I was in the garage and found the "switch", I used to flip between maps. It has the connector to plug directly into the acc plug, a relay to flip the switch when you appy power via the acc switch and two wires that just plug into the PCV (no power just completes the circuit as the PV needs).

The switch worked well with the PCV, I had a power map and an economy map

slhanks i was looking pcv and it says it features two map settings and a spst switch is what was needed,, i am NOT building one ( i dont think i could ) im going to buy one
