Default Goodridge Front Brake line 'kit'

This is related to my questions this weekend about running the wires through the bars, but started new thread so that anyone searching in the future would find it easier.

2010 Road King Classic

I cannot get the look of those brake lines out of my mind. They are only 'mocked up' (finger tight) right now, but it just.....does not look right. The angle of the rigid tubing 'T' end of line from Master Cylinder is really awkward. When installing the 'T' (which is actually round), if you line up the existing pin sticking down from the forks, the connection between the line from the master cylinder and the 'T' ends up being off to the left side of the bike. Does that sound right? Or, I really should ask, has anyone else put the Goodridge kit on their bike?

I know that is hard to follow, but if you have done this kit on similar bike it might make sense. I even called Goodridge, but trying to communicate about this subject with one party not ever having seen (and apparently unable to produce a picture of) the part is pretty much impossible.

As always, any input is appreciated.

The place I bought everything sent me this link:

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...ent-issue.html

I searched the hell out of the forum......or so I thought.

Oh well, sorry to waste space, but maybe it will help someone else in the future.

I have a Goodrich kit on my bike, but it has been there so long I have forgotten anything about fitting it! I must agree it is not exactly the most beautiful thing on the planet, but it still works fine! You may be able to find alternative components from a Goodrich supplier that will neaten things up more to your liking.

you have to grind the pin off the bike frame when the chrome puck goes for it to fit right. I've done two of them.
