Pretty sure! Besides, two right bags are fairly useless (unless someone has discovered a way to mount one to the front wheel)

I have had the lid pop open while riding, but never had the whole thing come loose. That would stink. Luckily on the Ultra the bags are secured in the protective cage and would only bounce about, but not fall off.

for $8 at hardware store 4 "speed nuts"* and 4 wing screws** will replace stock hardware.

or you can buy hardware from Brutus for 20~25 bucks or what ever they charge

I replaced one pin on each bag with a Brukus Saddlebag bolt.

Cops bag opener can be changed to a push button opener. Looks real clean not having that doughnut on the top of the bag.Lost bag cost some lives here last year. I don't ride in a group.

another one for putting bolts and nuts on there. I did this with stainless on mine, minimally you need one per side for security etc.

Sorry to hear that Dr....... I was always concerned (paranoid) my
bag(s) would come loose and skid across the pavement.
No matter how often I checked my factory pins, or checked the new
ones after replacement... I was still riding in a state of paranoia.

Bought a set of 'saddlebag secure' attachments from Brukus, no more
worries of bags sliding across the pavement.

I have the Brukus Saddlebag bolts securing the bags on my bike, if they want the bags that bad, they will need to take the whole damn bike because the bags are not coming off....
