Another 100.00 bucks. When does it end. HDPLUS
Installed the HDPLUS Ipod interface. I could have sworn the cable was long enough to install the Ipod in the saddlebags.. Nope.....i was wrong. Rather then spending anoher 100.00 bucks for a kit, has anyone found another way of extending the Ipod cable that comes with the kit? I was thinking there was possibly another cable on the market that is longer and could possibly work with the HDPLUS. Any ideas would again be appreciated.

@Stuart1270...I installed the one from Onthemovetechnologies. The link you provided; would the Ipod cable work as a extension? Saschagast is right. OTM changed the cable length. Why would they do this.

I would guess they shortened the cable forcing you to buy the cable if you wanted to mount it in your saddlebag instead of including it.
