You can get Mobil 1 v-twin at Autozone or Wal-mart. Look up Amsoil Distributors in your area http://www.amsoil.com/locator/dealerlocator.aspx for Amsoil Severe Gear lube for the tranny. Lots of independent shops stock it. You can also get 20/50 Amsoil from the distributor as well. Don't have a Distributor in your area? You can become one here for a small fee. http://www.amsoil.com/opportunity.aspx

100% what this guy said. My '99 runs great with this combination. And yes there will be ticking and engine noises after this...its a Harley!
I disagree. When my 96 was stock it made no top end noise with amsoil, royal purple or motul. Even conventional pennzoil 20w-50 was quiet. I put the great mobil 1 in my engine and the top end sounded like a can of marbles bouncing around. So to me that isn't normal.
Now I've got new cams, heads etc and decided to try the almighty mobil 1 again and again the top end sounded like it was getting pounded. So I drained it out and used royal purple and wow, quiet top end. This time I used motul and again the top end is quiet so I will never waste another nickel on mobil 1. Not when there are other products for the same price that work better,in my bike anyways.
