Primary.....Is this a problem?
Doing a 30k on my bike tonight 09 Streetglide 96ci. When I took the primary cover off I saw what looked like a missing piece of a Teflon type coating on the face of the outer most disc.
In the pic you see it at 12 noon. Oil looked great and plug had minimal crap on the magnet. Is this a problem or a sign of wear, or is it normal. Thanks in advance. EW

that disc is your flex plate. It's what keeps the pressure on your clutches so they don't slip. Pull your clutch & watch it move!
Never seen that kind of flaking before but I doubt it will affect your clutch pack performance!
Hatch.

agree, it is painted black and has flaked some paint. not ideal but should not be a concern. change the oil
