I am installing the Polk MM651's in my 2012 FLHX and evryone is saying the tweeter doesn't protrude at all. Using the Throttle up adapters and when I mount the speaker to them I have a bit of protrusion. Not a lot but I'm sure it will bulge the speaker cloth. Are you guys using the spacer that is supplied with the speakers or are you mounting the speaker directly to the adapter plate? I may just add a washer between the speaker and the adapter but I would rather not.
