Thats it! A big Bingo. That is also where I found the rattle on mine and used two small pieces of thin rubber to stop it. Quiet as can be for many many miles since!

thanks bro for that post....that appears to be the issue I have as well. Same spot(s). I'm gonna sure everything up as soon as I can. Very poor design fix. Definitely not properly implemented right.

have you tried sliding a bit of vacuum = rubber tubing down your antenna to act as a bushing? just a thought that might be a simple solution for you.
