I'm thinking of the threaded tube used to hold and power a light bulb

Just installed one on my '09. Ran them on a couple other bikes with good results. The stock shoe had little wear @ 35k but the chain did seem tight? Install pretty straight forward. Ended up with 5/16 without shims. Figure the shoe will wear to the rollers and be right at 3/8. Chain doesn't seem as tight as stock. Hoping it will save primary bearing...

Just installed one on my 07 Fatboy. Got the exact same results...5/16 with no shims. Chain was tight, but did have some play. Using a zip tie made installation easier. Compressed the springs with both hands and used my teeth to pull the zip tie tight! Where's a friend when you need one! So far happy with performance... seems to be working well.
