Hi I was on a ride this weekend and talked with quite a few riders that had new scoots with the new 103's, Got some good responces and quite a few don't likes but no one had very good reasons, So I was looking for some input. Do you like/hate yours and some feedback as to why? Thanks for your time I meant the newly designed 103's not picking out any years in perticular, Just the motor,

Mine's an '11, so don't know if that qualifies as "new." But I like mine alot. Plenty of torque and hp and marries well with the 6 speed transmission. After putting 13,000+ miles on it, I am still a big fan.
What's to dislike about it? Like you said, no good reason. I came off a well tuned 96"er with exhaust, air and tuner, so yes, I was a little disappointed with stock performance, I believe my 96"er had the advantage. But I knew that going in and knew I was going to have to do the upgrades to get what I wanted out of it. So, once the Stage 1 was done, very happy, now with the FM 107" kit and cams, yeehah!
I'll answer when i throw away the headpipe and put a thunderheader and stage 1 on it and get it dyno'di can tell a little differnce over the 96 though.
Initial review, pings alot more when hot, cat is killing the flow, runs way to hot....
Mine was pinging alot. I took it to the dealer and he had Harley send a new EMC and installed it. The pinging has gone away. I like the 103 even more now that the pinging is gone.
