There is enough slop in the adjuster cam on the right side to make a very large difference when you bring the right nut up to torque while holding the left end of the axle.
American manufacturing tolerances being as they are nowadays.
This procedure applies only to 09 and newer bikes , as the earlier bikes are "very" adjustable and use a different procedure to true the rear swingarm and wheel.
