Anyone here using Cee Bailey running light armor on their spots? I've seen it mentioned and looked them up. Sounds like a nice idea (both visibility/protection wise) vs using amber colored bulbs. Thinking of trying the amber covers with sylvania 894 37w bulbs. Input appreciated.. Thx

I have them on the shelf in my garage. They are great in theory buy look absolutely awful on the bike. They come with velcro circles that attach to the bike light and the cee bailey cover. Once on the bike it looks so friggin stupid I took them off without even taking a ride.
The concept is great (I have LED HD headlight and passing lights) because I would hate to have spend the money to replace a light because of a rock. They need to come up with a better design to mount them. Maybe a trim ring that attached to the chrom rim on the light then has four flanges that hold the armor.
Anyone interested in buying mine, PM me. Will sell very cheap. Have the clear covers for the headlight and two passing lights.
Ok, cool. Thx for the input. Thinking I don't want velcro tabs on the lense covers and make it look completely like a tack on. I just ordered some Hella extreme yellow 894 bulbs on Amazon for $20. I'll try that route 1st....
