I bought a Klock Werks Billboard Flair, last March for my 05 RK Classic and love this shield, as said above there is some noise with it.
Im 6' 3" and the shield is the right height for me to look over and not get blasted by a june bug.
Went out to Yellowstone in July and the wife mentioned she noticed that her helmet was'nt moving around as much, not knowing i changed the the windshield.
Good luck with your choice.
I am 6-1 as well and run the 8.5" KW on my 2009 EG.
Right height, able to see over the top instead of through, running vented lowers, buffeting is not a problem.
Had concerns when I bought, spoke with KW they asked enough questions to size it just right.
Riding in Texas and other southern states is a challenge in the summer. Either very early or late or lots of fluids and long sleeves to keep the sun off.
If you want to see one, send PM.

Great thread, I just can't figure out whether to order a 9 or an 8 LRS. I have a stock 10 inch now. I want to improve buffeting but don't want to look through the winshield.

If your 7" HD shield doesn't have the flare, a 6.5" KW will give you better performance. I'm 6'3 and have a 6.5" and a 8.5" KW, both dark tinted. I prefer the 6.5" so I have better visibility. 8.5" goes on when I'm packing a passenger.
Only draw back is you can't use a windshield bag because of the windshield angle.
Does anyone know if the Klock Werks 6.5" flare is too tall for a 5'6" guy. Website says "average height rider" but I am clearly below average height lol
Some dealerships have the KW you can put on your bike and do a test ride. I got the 6.5 black KW and love it for my 2011 SG. I have been hit a couple of times by a bug but, I ride in the south and they are everywhere.
