Well thats just what I meant, nothing personal its just a fact of life.
Plus if you have medical bills as a result of course you need a lawyer, its the ones that dont and just automatically run to a lawyer to see what they can get.
I could tell you a bunch of examples of idiots just suing even family and friends because "they can" when they really dont have to.
But medical thats another story all together, if you are injured your life can change and your financial life can change very quickly so yeah of course in those cases it is necessary today.
Thanks to everyone for your well wishes!
Just home from getting looked at, started getting sore in my legs so I'm on muscle relaxers and pain meds.
They cleaned rash on left elbow and cut on left ring finger from my tungston carbide wedding ring that shattered.
The bike at the seen was unable to be ridden, the bags got ripped from their mounts, rear fender was pinned against the tire with who knows what other damage underneith, crash bar looked bent, the seat was torn on both sides, and the fairing and bars looked a little off. This all at a glance while dealing with paramedics and police.
Oh!! The wife asked when did I want to start looking for another new bike!
Very sorry to hear of your accident, glad as other post mentioned you are not strapped to a backboard.
IT pisses me off just reading posts like this, that stuff like this happens. It makes me damn near paranoid at stops, and I hate to be in traffic where I can't get an out.
Again, though, glad you are ok. Do monitor yourself, and take action if anything appears to be affecting you such as numbness in arms, legs, etc. Get a MRI, trauma to the body does not always manifest effects right away.
Glad to hear that you're ok, relatively speaking. As others have said, keep your eyes glued to the mirrors at a stop light, and have an escape route. I also never put it into neutral at a light. That and keep the front brake engaged for the extra light. I have even pumped the lever to make the brake light flash to get attention.
hell it wouldn't hurt to just speak with a lawyer. You might just be able to get some change for a newer scoot...
Glad your OK!!! Don't be mean, but make sure you are made whole financially and physically. This is happening all the time. Two guys I know, same thing...didn't see you!! It's like real life pong, with your life! Not funny... Somebody on here a while ago, said that because of this, when they pull up to a light, they pull to the right of the lane and turn their front forks a little to the right while waiting JUST IN CASE A MORON DECIDES TO TAKE A NAP... I have been kind of doing this once in a while when convenient and looking in my mirror once in a while...Not scared at all, but it does make you think...
Glad your ok, I always look behind me at lights also, but sometimes things happen so fast. I hope if there's any frame damadge they total your bike so there won't be issues down the road.
Thanks to everyone for your well wishes!

Good wife, & you OWN the bitch that hit you! Show no mercy with the insurance companies or court. Glad you weren't hurt any worse.
