Default Which tailight - BAL- Custom Dynamics?

I'm fed up with my MOCO LED tailight. I hear BAL is the way to go for the brightest light. But, a lot of folks like Custom Dynamics. BAL is pricey, especially for the 12 led one. CD seems reasonable, but are they really bright? Anything else I should consider?

The $200 BAL is fine for me, is plug and play, has 20 or so combinations of brightness and flash variations, plug and play, requires no other black boxes or wiring modifications. It looks so much like the stock lens that there is little chance of anyone noticing it on a parked bike and trying to take it. Don't know anything about the other option you are considering.

Just installed the $200 BAL on my 08 Ultra Clasic. For $200 it's a great investment. 3 different level's of brightness and 20 some flash patterns. And people really notice when your braking. I love mine.

Had a CD on the old bike, but put a BAL-1 on the new one - mainly for the strobe function. You can't go wrong with either one.

I got the BAL. plenty of options and it gets the attention of other drivers. I don't know anything about the CD product.
