windshield change input wanted
I have a LSR 8" Stealth for warm weather. It is perfect for me.
During the winter I switch out to the LSR Flat Top for max cold wind protection.
They both work great.

LRS is having a sale on a new line called the "Ultra Elite" series. They are made of polycarbonate (Lexan) material. I was about to buy one of their acryilic shields but after seeing some videos posted on HD Forums on how acryilic shields can shatter and crack I changed my mind. Check the link on the new model.

I went with a 10" stock HD shield, solved all my problems which I suspect the same as the OP's.
IIRC you are supposed to look over the top not through the windscreen and that is what mine is like now.
No wind noise, no wind blast, just low enough to look over it
