If you do that, then your 4 way flashers may not work if ever broken down at the side of the road. You would want to switch to accessory to do that otherwise you'd have to add a dead battery to the list of parts to fix whatever else needs it. But, to some, having the flashers work is a minor thing.

Where and when I ride, the flashers are huge to me. Lose your headlights and the flashers give you enough light to pull over safely. ( Two times now.)
I suppose an easily accessible switch vs having to pull the seat every time would be the ticket.
I'd like to know which two wires to swap so I could listen to the radio as I clean/service the bike each weekend.
I don't have electric service out to the area where I typically work on it so I've currently been pulling the seat and disconnecting the module if I'm going to be out there for any length of time.
And I only forgot to plug it back in once, (errr maybe twice.)!
C'mom Stiggy we're in NC ...not BFE...Go to Walmart and buy you a little battery radio...Making us look bad here...LOL...
I installed this module as soon as I got my Ultra but I modified it a few weeks later, after I followed my bike on a friend's bike and noticed that the brake lights weren't as visible as I expected. The single filament bulbs in the turn signals don't get much brighter when I brake.
After the modification, the turn signals are no longer running lights, they only turn on when I brake or when I turn which, in my opinion is much safer.
By the way, I have running lights in my TourPak so a total of 3 running lights in the back is enough IMO.

Frenchbiker, can you elaborate on the mods you did. I would like to do the same to mine. I've always thought it looks like the brakes are always on.
Thanks, kj
