I tried following these instructions but the wire colors are different on my kit. It's a new kit - maybe they have changed the colors. Mine has FOUR blue wires to each connector. Blue with purple, blue with red, and blue with orange(?), then just solid blue. Since the colors are different I don't want to mess with it until I'm sure which wires to change. Anyone have updated instructions for these wires?
I do like the idea of having the turn signals NOT be running lights. I agree with Frenchie that it would make the brakes show up much more, and heck I already have the Tour Pack lights and fender light.
What Dawg said but logically:
Blue with purple= old purple
Blue with orange= old orange
Blue with red= old red
.....

Thanks Frenchbiker and Dawg. I don't have a 12V tester and don't really know how to use one but I guess I should learn someday. For now I think I'm happy leaving the lights as is. I like having a lot of red running lights, and when I brake the main brake light and tour pak brake lights get a lot brighter, even if the turn signals don't quite as much.
