Default Wanted: A good vender!

I need parts, I have the money, but I can't find a vender that I'm happy with. Here is my experience so far.
1) Dr. V-Twin- These guys were the nut! They really took care of me, but some where in the mix they just disappeared? I know Drew dosen't work for them so I call the # on the card that shawn sent me with my last purchase I made 6 months ago and the number is no longer in service?
2) JPcycles- These guys are average. I ordered some PM rotors and paid them through paypal 3 weeks ago and called to check on my order and they didn't have a clue when they would be shipped. So I cancelled, I wonder how long it will take for my refund? (over $500 btw)
3) Most that I contact don't really know the answer to my questions. They are more acustom to main stream production parts and that's cool, I understand it. But I'm more interested in finding a vender that GETS IT DONE!

I'm not talking about spending a couple hundred dollars I'm talking about a custom bagger that I need parts and tins etc... lots of coin.

One of my questions for a vender (not named here) was: I want a yaffe chupa fender made for a 2 into 1 along with the yaffe bags 2 into 1. They say that yaffe dosen't make the Chupa fender for a 2 into 1. Wrong! Yaffe will make it for an additional charge.

I could go on and on, but is there a medium size vender out there or even a smaller vender that might want some business? Is there one that will at least pick up the phone and try to get what the customer wants? Is Dr. V-Twin still in business? They would make it happen.

Frustrated.

I've never found a single vendor that was a good one stop shop for everything that you could possibly want. However I can recommend:

HogPro - everything they sell
FuelMoto - everything they sell

I've found, the best way to get the real deal and best customer service is to go straight to the source. For example, I bought a Danny Gray Airhawk seat which has this cool stitch pattern on it, and I wanted a sissy bar pad that matched to go with it. I couldn't find one offered anywhere. So, I went to Danny Gray's website, sent an e-mail, ended up speaking with a very nice woman who had the sissy bar pad made for me, with stitching to match what was on the seat, and shipped to me before I left for vacation.

Was it cheap, did I get a deal? No, most likely not. But I got what I wanted and was treated well in the process. I'm ok with that.

In your case, have you gone directly to Yaffe yet to see if they can get you what you want? Just a thought. And good luck!

Thanks for the feed back. I have only emailed yaffe, but it takes a week for them to reply at best. But since I will be in the market for a new seat also, I think I will make that direct phone call to Danny Grey and see what they say.
