Default 2012 RGU remapping

I have a 2012 RGU,and a dumbass question. I know the moco has the bikes running lean which creates heat. can the stock 103 be remapped without changing exhaust, breather and tuner? I spent enough on this bike I really dont want to buy a exhaust, breather and stuff to make it a little cooler. It runs fine, I am happy with he power and two up cruising,it is the heat I would like to reduce. Thanks, hot and fugly is no way to go through life

The thing that generates the lions share of the heat is the catalytic converter. If you dont remove that, you wont get rid of very much heat.

Many have gutted their cats without buying new pipes, or you can buy a stock take-off for cheap and gut that.

Then you would need to richen it up a bit, an inexpensive solutions is Xieds.

If you change only this, you will be able to decrease the heat with no other mods necessary.

I did a stage 1 to my FLTRU103 two years ago. PM me if you have questions.
