I have an question out there for all you much smarter guys than me...
I have an 02 road king and unable to set my cruise control..
I can turn it on and the light on left bar is red but when go to hit the sw on the right bar to set the cruise it won't engauge no green light etc....have done some simple things light check the throttle cable adj, front and rear brake sw...any help with be great...also anyone know how to get the if any codes from cruise control...thanks
try the throttle roll off switch. unplugging it will make the cruise work again. I had the same problem with mine when i purchased it a few months ago. The plugs are on the right side of the neck, in front of the tank. Just follow the t-cable and you should be able to find them. Just remember that to cancel your cruise you will now have to hit either brake pedal to cancel it.
